Reena Parmar, also known as Reena ProArtist, is a luxury bridal hair and makeup artist with over 18 years of professional experience in the beauty industry. Based in Watford and working across London, Hertfordshire, the UK and internationally, Reena specialises in bridal hair and makeup for Asian, English and fusion weddings, as well as destination weddings worldwide.
Renowned for her calm, professional approach and flawless, long-lasting results, Reena is passionate about helping her clients not only look beautiful, but feel confident, relaxed and truly themselves. Her bridal work is tailored to each individual bride, with expert skin preparation, refined techniques and a focus on camera-ready finishes that last from ceremony to celebration.
Alongside her bridal work, Reena is a full-time professional TV hair and makeup artist at Sky TV, covering Sky Sports, Sky News and Sky Entertainment. Her television career includes working on live broadcasts, presenters, celebrities and entertainment shows, where precision, reliability and the ability to perform under pressure are essential. This broadcast experience directly translates into her bridal work, ensuring a smooth, organised and stress-free wedding morning for every bride.
Bridal hair and makeup remains at the heart of Reena’s career. She has worked with over 500 brides across a wide range of cultures, ceremonies and venues, from intimate UK weddings to large-scale destination and multi-day celebrations. Award-winning and established since 2008, Reena is trusted for her expertise, attention to detail and consistently high standards.
In addition to client work, Reena is also a professional makeup educator and teacher at a leading makeup academy - Brushstroke, where she teaches Asian bridal hair and makeup to aspiring artists, sharing her industry knowledge and real-world experience.
Reena’s private, appointment-only studio is located in Watford, with on-location services available across the UK and internationally for weddings, TV, red carpet, editorial and high-profile events.
Design Appointment (Bridal Trial)
A Design Appointment is similar to a traditional bridal trial, but offers a more personalised and complete experience.
Rather than simply testing a look, a Design Appointment allows us to carefully design your entire bridal hair and makeup, once your outfit, jewellery, veil or dupatta have been chosen.
During your appointment at my private studio, we will tailor your hair and makeup to complement your outfit, accessories, skin tone and personal style, allowing you to see your full bridal look before the wedding day.
Having a trial before you have your outfit and jewellery, can be helpful to understand my style and approach, but it doesn’t always give a complete picture of how everything will come together on the day. For this reason, many brides choose to book their Design Appointment once their bridal outfit and jewellery are finalised, ensuring a seamless and confident result.
If you choose to book a trial before securing your wedding date and later decide to proceed, an additional Design Appointment may be required to finalise your complete bridal look once your outfit and jewellery are available. This would be charged separately.
Most of my brides prefer a streamlined approach by securing their wedding date in advance and booking a Design Appointment once all outfit details are confirmed. However, you are also welcome to book a trial before confirming your booking if you prefer.
My private, Appointment Only Studio is located in Watford (WD25), with services available across the UK and internationally for destination weddings.
The Design Appointment / Bridal Trial is up to £250 and includes both hair and makeup.
